I got a half price voucher for a spray tan in the local tanning salon, and I get another voucher for another half price one if I go to this.

So I am going to be spray tanned!

I am a bit worried about it being patchy though, or if I look too orange (aka Jodie Marsh for all you fellow brits!
).

Has anyone else had a spray tan?

My aunt had one once, and she ended up being really streaky and patchy

Lets hope that yours goes really good!

I think Jodie Marsh just bathes in gravy granules to be honest

I have been using Garnier holiday skin moisturisers and whilst i do really like it, i hate having to apply it every day.

I thought that I could just get this done as a base and after a week or so when it fades, go back to applying the tinted moisturiser.

thats what i'm scared of! but this one is like a fine mist that they mist all over you and apparently there is something in the formula that stops it sticking to the same place more than once?

Just remembered the episode of Friends when Ross gets the spray tan!

I was going to go once, but my friend scared me out of it. She said that hers ended up pretty streaky. Sorry...

No-one but me is going to see my undies for the forseeable future, I might as well ruin them with spray tan!

I am wondering if i should just cancel and stick with the stuff i'm using already?

But then again, it cant be any worse than my attempts. My little brother told me i look like tutankhamen with a gold face!

I'd go for it too - how long does a spray tan last?

I used a self tanner once and it looked really bad (it was streaky on my legs) so I used hair conditioner and sugar and mixed it together, and it made a paste and I put it on and washed it off, and it took the streaky-ness right away!

I guess its suppposed to work as an exfoliater for your skin. Weird, but it worked!

Thats a really good tip!

I think it lasts for a bout a week, week and a half? as I am blond so hardly ever have to shave my legs it might last a bit longer on me.

if it looks really bad I can always refuse to leave the house until it wear off.

I had it and I'll never do it again. You stink for days and it rubs off in spots and you look dirty. I hated it! I hope you feel differently though! They give you paper undies to wear, btw...

Is it a mystic tan? I know they used to use something weird that ended up streaky, but there's a new kind that just makes your skin react by making a normal tan... it doesn't dye your skin orange the way it used to.

Much safer than tanning beds!!!
