I will appreciate any input.
I've had Masha, my female cat for 5 years. Couple months ago we brought in a new female kitty (Njusha) and Masha has been under A LOT of stress. They still do not get along at all, although Masha now only hisses when the little one tries to be affectionate, otherwise she just ignores the new kitten. But anyway, she has been under a lot of stress and I suppose that's why this has happened.
I noticed some scrubs and a rash above her eye on Masha a few days ago and took her to a vet, vet said it's nothing to worry about and said to apply antibiotic ointment and prescribed antibiotics in case ointment won't resolve the issue in a week. Ok, fine, I was doing that.
Than today I find this:
A complete bold spot at the back of her neck and scrubs are still there and rash above the eye is missing lots of hair. It's Saturday and everybody's closed. Little one doesn't have anything like this, so there is no way she brought it in. Does this look like ringworm? I am applying Clotrimasole, but she licking it off I am totally freaking out and have no idea what to do. Masha is VERY nervous cat, there is no way I could bathe her in anything or give her pills (she won't touch pill pockets also). I will be making appointment with different vet on Monday, but is there anything else I can d NOW and tomorrow? Thank you so much!
