So incase you didn't hear or read or pay attention, American Trans Air (ATA) filed chapter 11 bankruptcy and closed their doors effective immediately. No more flights...so any one currently abroad are having to change their flights home (for a fee in some cases) via another airlines.

My sister was a flight attendent for that airlines. Thanks to our phone calls and checking the news, THAT'S how she was notified.

Luckily she was at her home and not stuck abroad somewhere.

I agree though...I really hate when companies don't give a clue to their employees. At least strongly encourage them to think about finding a new job before you do that.
