hello, I just joined this site, I am looking to get some advice on our new adopted feral kitten (4 months old) female who we have named Maggie May. She has been checked over by my local veterinary, had all her jabs etc...... I am keeping her in the bathroom at the moment with food, water, cat litter and a comfy little bed in a cat carrier. Which is nxt to the radiator. At first and understandably, she stayed in the cat carrier. My husband and myself have been going in to see her, talk to her, and, feed her. She is getting more confident with us and she let let me pet her, she started to purrrrrrr........but, I didn't over do it. We have a male cat, Bruce who is 10 and, he is very shy towards other people. He has lived with other cats of mine since he was a kitten but, unfortunately my 2 cats passed away. Does anyone no when I should be taking him out of his comfort zone (the bathroom) into r living quaters, and, to meet Her brother Bruce. I have a biggish cage to put her in for when they meet. She'll b in her cage so they can sniff each other first. I have been letting each cat smell each others scent by letting them both sniff each others blankets. When is it safe to bring her out of bathroom to do allvthis please?
