How Similar Are Burmese Cats And Bombays Personality-wise?

I know Bombays are (Burmese + American Shorthair black cats) but look just like a black burmese cat. How similar are the personalities of the Bombay breed compared to the Burmese?

I adopted 2 rescue kitties, am fostering 1 more, and for my 4th and final cat, I wanted to get a purebred. And it worked out because the breeders around me are having trouble finding homes for their Burmese & Bombaysl.

Their personalities are very similar.
Bombays will be a bit less active than Burmese, due to the American Shorthair mixed in.

I have a friend who shows American Burmese and she says they are dog like in temperament. I know her Frida and Donato are adorable friendly cats. Frida is a 'Pet me' cat at the shows. Bombays are supposed to be similar in temperament, I think.
