My kitten goes once or twice a day. My previous cat went every other day. I really think every cat is different, just like humans, but maybe every 4 days it's a bit concerning
I hate to be a downer, but dry food doesn't actually clean teeth. This is a myth. In my opinion dry food is actually quite unhealthy for cats as it has very low moisture and is packed with carbs (it will also make your cat's poop stinkier and bulkier because it is loaded with carbs that cats can't properly digest in large quantities).cat1967 I'm actually glad that she prefers dry food because It's better for her teeth.
Although wet food tends to have more protein ... but she is having crazy growth spurts so I'm sure she's doing fine.
It's funny how Eris our kitten doesn't like wet food, but as for our senior chihuahua Cookie, she goes crazy over the smell of it...... even if she gets none lol
