I wasn't sure whether to post this under nutrition or the feral cat section so admins, feel free to move it if you need to :)

Anywho, I ended up trapping the feral I was after and now we are in the kennel phase. I was going to feed him 6oz a day of wet, split into two meals, but now I'm wondering if I should leave dry out as well? I don't want him to eat it all at once and puke or anything and I'm also not going to be giving him dry after his release.
Opinions?

6oz of wet food sounds the norm for an adult cat to be eating in a day. But it also depends on how heavy he is and how many calories are in the particular wet food. If he's on the heavier side, or the food is on the lower caloric intake side, feeding more is appropriate.

Depends on your goal I suppose. Are you trying to work with him to tame him? If you're trying to work with him, hunger is a big motivator.
