How Long Should It Take My Cat To Recover On Diazepam?

Hi, my cat is suffering from from urinary spasms with no stone / crystal in bladder, and the bladder is not badly inflamed. Could you please tell me how long it will be until he recovers? My cat is using diazepam as well. Many thanks!

Hi! For some reason your post didn’t show up in my thread. I actually decided not to go with the diazepam just because I was concerned about side effects. Instead the vet prescribed Prozasin, which relieves the bladder spasms. Once on the medication it took about 3-4 days for things to return to normal. I hope that helps!

Every cat is different, so no one can say for sure how long YOUR cat will take to recover. Hopefully it won't be too long. What else is he on besides the diazapam?
