Kitty's been on Laxatone for about four days. Just curious how long it typically takes before you get results? Never had this problem before (it's a cat I'm sitting for), so not all that familiar with stuck hairballs.

How Long Before Laxatone Works On Hairballs?

What are his symptoms and how much laxatone are you giving him?

Hacking, like she's trying to bring up a hairball or coughing. They took her to the vet on Thursday they examined her, and they prescribed an inch of Laxatone gel each day. Thankfully she just eats it up. Just want an idea of how long it takes though.
Should have asked when emailing with the vet earlier but honestly didn't think about it. Her parents will be back home next week, but don't want to be remiss if she needs to go back to the vet before then. I'll be emailing the vet on Wednesday as a touch-base regardless.

If it doesn't resolve in another day or 2 i'd consult with the vet.

I kept in contact with the very every other day or so. The hacking became very minimal on Friday and Saturday, and was non-existent since then. Yay!
