Hi, tabby is female, 3 years old, spayed, resident cat. Black is male, 2 years old, neutered, new cat.

We had the black for 19 days now, i may missed it up and had them meet earlier than i should, how angry does she seems? She didn't hit him, she hit tbe floor next to him, she never uses her claws yet he did hit her once and gave her a tiny injury on her nose with some of her hair stuck to his claws :(

Is there is hope or should i separate them and start the whole over?

Thanks

Nah, this was just a slightly heated discussion. They're working things out. It was far more a statement of, "I'm STILL the boss of you" than an attack. No ears were EVER flat back, she did not attack. Swats are fairly common as two cats learn to share territory. Rule of Thumb: "If there is no blood or pee on the floor, and no hunks of fur in the air, it is NOT a cat fight." Sometimes a cat's just gotta say what a cat's gotta say. And he gave her a pretty respectful response, as well.

Threats of injury are a daily occurrence in multicat households even after they like each other 🤣

This is like a light yellow flag. The scale being from yellow to blood and fur.
