I know there are a lot of people here with multi-cat households. I'm really curious as to how it got to be that way? Did you make a conscious decision to add to your fur-family or was there a kitty in need who came to you or just touched you so much you had to adopt him/her?
I've currently got 2, so I guess we're already a multi-cat house.
Ophelia was a rescue (she was trapped between the walls of our apartment building when she was about 6 weeks old). We thought we lost her (being a feral, she found the perfect hiding spot!), and had bought a lot of kitty supplies so we went out and got Trent, who chose us from the pet store cages.
But the real reason I ask is because we are moving from an apartment, where they really can limit how many animals you have, to our own townhome.
The HOA says 2 pets maximum, but from what I know that's more of a recommendation than a real rule.
