On forums I use "Caitlin" (my first name), but on everything else I use "foxontherun613". The "fox on the run" part came off the back of a random CD cover (Detroit Rock City soundtrack) and I like foxes, so I used that, and 613 is the combination of me and my boyfriend's birthdays (mines May 6th, and his is March 13th).
Wow mine is so boring. This is actually my second user-name for this site. I had about 450 posts before the 2004 site crash, and my name back then was Sarahpen01. Sarah because that's my name, pen because Penelope is my middle name and Mum and Dad used to call me Sarahpen, and 01 because it means #1 and it's what I used to use for all my passwords when I was married - my husband's name and 01 afterwards.
When I rejoined I decided to use a new user-name, and KitEKats4Eva! is basically just how I feel about cats, and abbreviated because `Kitty Cats Forever!' doesn't look as groovy!!
It's funny, though, because even though my name is in my sig, a lot of people here think my name is Eva!!
Middletown is my online alter ego on almost all boards.
Comes from a Song by Rush known as Middletown Dreams.
Reminds me of younger days when life was simpler and I was still living in my home state of SC. Which I hope to make it back to one day if she'll have me.
KittenKiya is my Maine Coon cross cat. He is the most perfect gentleman I have ever owned. He has NEVER scratched me, NEVER bit me. When he wants attention, he sits next to me and puts out his paw to catch my attention. Then we hug and have lovin's.
I had a pen pal in high school who was from South Korea, and on a whim we decided to give each other nicknames. The nickname she chose for me was Mi-Ri-Nae, which I've likely horribly misspelled, and which means "milky way." She and I haven't written to each other in a while, but the nickname sounded pretty enough to my foreign ear, and I decided to stick with it as an online handle.
I used to play one of those massive online fantasy games, and I frequented that particular game's forums. I am one to stick up for the underdog and have no tolerance for bullies. There was a group of posters that were on a couple of different forums, and they always ganged up on people. I spoke up about it and found myself targeted by them after that. They stalked me around the internet at other gaming forums, and even into my real life via messenger IE: people pretending to be my friend only to find out they were passing along information to these bullies.
I eventually left that venue and because the internet is a large part of my life and I enjoy the casual socialization because I enjoy being a homebody instead of being out all of the time, I looked around for another community to join.
I had joined a couple of other non-gaming communities only to find that these bullies would search me out on the internet and follow me and continue to bully me at these new places. This continued for years...I'm talking about 7 or 8 years in total, and for about 4 years after I had left those gaming communities. It was relentless.
I worked at getting lost on the internet. I had stopped posting on those gaming forums, I changed my messenger ID's, I changed all of my email addresses including my private one through my IP, and I even changed my phone number. I also shut down my website and concealed my identity with the domain.
Eventually I found myself at this forum when I had a question about my cats, and I watched to see what kind of people posted here and to find out if there were any bully groups. After a few months I decided to sign up. Then came the hard part, picking out a name.
I had used the same user name as my online identity for years, but thanks to that group of online bullies, I found that I could no longer use that user name, and I even had to close down my website because they were harassing me through it too.
So I picked a name randomly and tacked on _ca to it. And that is how I came to be "Natalie_ca"
I have been a big Supernatural fan since about midway through the very first season. Winchester is the surname of Sam and Dean on Supernatural, and I took that as my moniker for TCS.
