After I read this, I tried it with my left hand. Did not go well. I'm sorry you had to cut it off, but that was probably the best choice.

I did too and I couldn’t do it either.

So sorry you are hurt. Heal well! I am glad you got yourself out! Until you are healed, go without if possible. If needed, maybe a thick shirt? Health and comfort over all else.

If it happens again it can be done one handed. You slip your index finger underneath to stretch the hooks out a bit and then use your thumb on top to pinch and push the the hooks backwards until they release.

That is exactly how I do it and it works like a charm.

LOL! But men have their own unique problems. If I were a guy, pants zippers would terrify me!

Can you imagine those little zipper teeth so close to sensitive bits?
