We have two cats, one older 8 year old female, and a 2 year old male.
The male cat isn't overly aggressive, but sometimes playful. The problem is that whenever the older cat tries to move from one area of the house to another, the young male will pounce on her/chase her and it is clearly stressing her out.
He obviously thinks it is all play, but the older cat hisses and bats at him, etc. It is particularly troublesome when they fly up and down the stairs.
What can we do to stop this behavior? Thanks
