How can i safety wash my cat's stuffed animals and toys?

How can i safely wash my cat's stuffed animals and toys?

using the washing machine[ easy wash of course]

thinking about soap incredients, soap residure.......or maybe i shouldnt wash that al all.

It really depends on the type of stuffing. I wouldn't advise washing anything with catnip or other herbs. Anything with a beanbag type fill is also a no go for washing. They can be lightly sponged clean if necessary.

We wash the dog's stuffed animals from time to time - non biological soap on a delicate cycle seems to work just fine. So long as your machine has a decent rinse cycle there shouldn't be a problem.

I agree with Columbine on not washing catnip toys..unless you unstuff and refill them.

I wash the other toys and beds in the washing machine with warm water and baking soda. Just dont use a dryer sheet in the dryer!
