My cat Jasper is having a procedure done in two weeks to possibly remove an ear polyp. Since December he has had no ear infections and he is eating but for the past week or so, his right eye (his polyp is in his right ear) has been smaller than the other one. I took him last week for a check up, and again, no ear infection, but the vet said the polyp is probably bothering him. Two weeks can't come soon enough. She recommended Synotic drops every other day, which I've been doing. I think her hope was that the steroids might reduce any inflammation. His eye seems worse today, and before I take him back or call, I was curious to see if anyone had any ideas I could suggest to the vet.

I would just tell the Vet his eye seems worse today and see what they say. They are the experts and know your cat's history, and also know how deep that polyp might be. I guess it's possible the Synotic drops aren't even reaching it if they suspect it's really deep.
