Hey all,

We wanted to know if there is a good homemade "no bite/chew" spray. The thing is we have a alot of house plant and wanted a spray that would work on them. The cats are not chewing on them that much, just sometimes. We don't have any that are toxic.

Question: The cat grass that you see in Pet stores. Does it work? Would they be more attracted to it and leave the other plants alone?

And if you have Idea's on sprays let us know.

Thanks

Oliver loooooooves cat grass! From all I've heard, they're naturally attracted to it, and it will satisfy their need/want for ruffage (helps digestion and hair balls) and they should leave your regular plants alone... but I'd try maybe spraying lemon juice on your plants as cats apparently do not like citrus smells

We have cat grass. It sits there untouched while the other plants are chewed down.
I don't know why, but both of our kitties prefer to eat the plants they aren't supposed to. Cat nip plants, however, will be eaten. I grow cat nip instead of cat grass now.

My aunt has tried these cuz her cat likes to eat plants/scratch the trunks of indoor trees and she just stands on them now, haha... haven't heard of anyone who's had success with them
