I’m thinking about adopting a cat that “has a hole in the roof of his mouth.” I haven’t seen it and they don’t call it a cleft palate but that’s what it sounds like. A vet tried to close it up, but it opened up again. He eats with encouragement but snorts a lot. Anyone have any experience with this and what is a possible solution? Obviously I’d get him to a vet asap.
