Does anyone know the reason why a cat would have low basophils on a blood test?
I am at a loss for it.. Geoffrey has had low basophils for a year. The regular Vet is leaning towards allergies. The specialist does not want to comment on it, until he sees Geoffrey and orders another blood test.
I cannot seem to find much about this on the web; except associated with allergies.
They were low, last year, and very low this year; so I am concerned.
The Regular Vet feels it is either a chicken allergy or an allergy of some sort, or IBD; because of his vomiting, and excessive ear wax, and that he is always grooming.
Thanks in Advance.....
