Hi Everyone,
I am the proud new mommie of a beautiful little Tortie named Karma. She was a stray my husband and I found on our apartment complex. We had seen her running around for a few months and thought she was beautiful
. Then on a cold rainy day at the end of October we saw her coming down some stairs by our unit and called to her. She came up to us and we let her inside our apartment. She was wet, cold and hungry. We gave her some tuna and milk, she was very thankfull. We noticed that she had a hurt back foot and she seemed comfy inside so we kept her in for the day. She ended up staying till 5 in the morning, we had to put her back outside when we went to bed. The next day when we woke up we went outside to see if she was there and she was. This time we brought her in and kept her in all day and night. She had a great time playing and cuddleing. She slept right on top of us. Well at the time we could not really afford to keep her plus she was injured so we figured we would take her to the shelter and get her adopted. After spending 2 days with her we fell in love
. We dropped her off, painfully, at the shelter and went home and cried all day
. The next day we said we need that cat so we went back and put a hold on her. 5 days later she came home with us
and has been spoiled ever since.
We found out she was two and weighed 7 pounds. She is a full tortoise shell and has the tortatude to prove it. We have both had cats before but this one is special. She picked us to live with. She has become our baby
.
We are happy find this site. We hope to be around for a while.
