Hi everyone,
I'm new here and this is my first post. I live in NC and currently share my life with 2 cats, Bella and Big Boy. I got Bella two years ago, when she showed up at work, skinny and starving. My boss was going to call the local pound to pick her up. She was semi feral and my daughter and I lured her into a cat carrier with food and the rest is history. She weighed only 3 lbs and she was approximately 1 yr old. She is now a beautiful healthy 10 lb. girl and soooo sweet. She still doesn't like to be held, but loves gentle scratches and chin rubs.
We adopted Big Boy from a local pound last June. He was approximately 2-3 months old. He is growing into quite a man cat. He is full of energy and mischief. He has a thing for paper. We have to put toilet paper out of his reach and basically anything paper. He is also a thief. I have found quite a few things, including car keys in the litter box and a few things in the water bowl.
At the time, I am having trouble with cat introductions, and I will post about that later.
I lost my cat, Susie last May to kidney failure. She was only 9 years old. She was a beautiful and sweet girl. I miss her so much! I will post some pictures soon of my fur kids. I look forward to being a member of this forum!
