Thought I should introduce myself after diving straight in asking advice a few days ago with kitty spayed stuff.
I have two Tonkinse kittens, coming up for 6 months now.
Brother and sister, Lotti and Kensey.
I have had cats all my life, and my dear tabby Ziggy had to be put down last January, losing his brave fight with kidney failure, at the age of about 17 years. He was a rescue cat.
I was born in California, parents both British and moved back to England where we have stayed since 1976. After living in Saudi Arabia for two years. My father worked there, and died there suddenly.
We adopted a stray dog there and brought her over with her puppy then.
We now have the two kittens and Leo our rescue dog.
I am now a carer here to my elderly and ill mother, so am at home a great deal.
I have been an antique dealer, mainly jewellery, and now am collecting and selling from home.
My passion in life is metal detecting, which I do with my friend in the fields around our old villages.
I live in a 15th century cottage in a little village near Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.
Just a short roundup, but I will post some pics of the kitties soon and will enjoy looking at all your lovely pics too.
