Hello, I have a 10 year old outdoor indoor cat who has severe stomatitis. We've been to the vet several times in the past few years, tried antibiotics and steroids. It has only progressively gotten worse. Two different vets have told me that due to her severe heart murmur she can't be operated on. She is in such pain one minute fine, the next howling and crying. It's making me cry I hate seeing her in pain and its only getting worse. I love her so much but I feel trapped medicine doesn't work and no tooth extraction. I guess the only option is to put her down ? I can't let her go but I can't see her in pain anymore. Is this the right thing to do ? Please help
