Help With Kitten Drinking Milk From Mom/other Kitten Issues

hi

My cat gave birth about 3hrs ago, mama cat is good cleaning little one, how will I know if kitten drinking milk? Shall I help mama cat latch her on nipple. Mama cat let me pet her she purring and happy.

This is my first time having kittens.
All advice welcomed.

Know you do by weighting the kittens and see they add.

But if you see the kitten isnt latching to momma you must help it. Be also prepared to handfeed it, at least for a beginning.

My kitten is 6 weeks old and has started eating solids.
How do I litter train him? He has messed under closet near his food.
His mom still feeds him.
I have shown him the litter box a few times.
Should I leave it to mom to show him? She is really clean and has not messed ever.

Mom usually will show them but if he has run of your whole house he likely won't be able to make it to where the box is or not know how to get to it being so young. Are they confined to a small space?

Continue putting the kitten in the box after meals. He’ll catch on over the next couple of weeks. He’s still learning!

He seems to enjoy staying in my room at moment (we in winter now and it’s freezing)
Hopefully his mom will show him

No I don’t plan to spray them at the moment. But when I’m ready over get will do it
