Help Tempting My Newly Adopted Stray Cat To Eat

As I mentioned, my Ruby used to eat all her food without stopping. Yes, dry too. But it did eventually settle down, so hopefully it will for Buster too
We have two cats who were underfed when they were kittens -- we adopted them at ten months and they are now about five -- and one has never quite gotten over her food anxiety. Edwina still has a tendency to scarf and barf and we have to feed the cats separately because her sister eats at a normal pace so Edwina will push her away to finish her food. Edwina has slowed down a little in the last year or two but we still feed five small meals a day to keep her from begging and eating too much too fast, then regurgitating.

All of which is to say that I'm glad Ruby's appetite settled down and I hope Buster's does, too! But if it doesn't, there are ways to manage it.
