Help!! Sock's nail i s Bleeding!!!

when i just got back from the shelter they gave him his shots and nails clipped. But they clipped one nail real short into his nerves!

I dont what to do. Shoul I quickly bring him to the vet or will he be fine?

I just dont want anything to happen to him.

no just go to the drug store and get the stuff that men use when the cut themselves shaving - it's called styptic power. It's also available in liquid I believe. It will stop bleeding and prevent infection.

Flour works, as does cornstarch.
It will stop on its own, though.
No need to panic!
