I live in the country side and have a lot of outdoor cats. One of my momma cats had two kittens a day ago. (One of them 2days ago). She is still pregnant and follows me around I tried to get her to stay with the two little ones but she would only stay with them if I was there. (They also had a hard time suckling milk). Sadly the two died this morning. What should I do with the still pregnant mother?

Bring mom and babies inside. Keep them in a room with everything they need. Mom will pay attention to her babies.

They may also need to be supplemented. Can you get some powdered kitten milk replacer? Not Hartz brand.

Which city are you closest to? We will help you to find a low cost spay/neuter clinic in your area.

Thank you for the reply. I would bring her inside however I still live with my parents and they won’t allow that to happen. Yes I have tried powdered milk the kittens just didn’t seem to interested in that either (they were health however moving around everywhere and meowing).

And I actually live in a little town called centuria in WI.

Do you have a garage or porch that the mother can stay in?

Great! See if she will use a nest made from a bin or box on your porch. The porch would be better and safer than out in the yard or bushes.

I’ll see how she handles it. Thank you for all the replies. I’ll post if any good news happens.

If she's tame and you're willing to, i suggest bringing the mother inside. That way you can insure everything's going alright. Good luck :)
