Hi! I am fostering 4 kittens 14 day old kittens and there mom. I got them 4 days ago from a foster group one of the kittens was very small only 5 oz so I was doing supplemental feeding. All was going well till yesterday. He stopped take the bottle or syringe and is not nursing. He isn’t losing any wait but stay at 5.5 ounces. The foster group doesn’t seem very concerned but I thought I would see if anyone had any suggestions. The 3 other kittys are doing very well all are almost double the little ones weight.

Is the little one passing stool? Formula can cause constipation which could make him lose his appetite.

If the kitten is not lethargic or struggling to breathe he should start eating again soon. How much had he been taking and how often?
