Hi, I really need your advice on this. I'm new on here, I joined because my cat snowflake was apparantly hit by a car on his right side. Discovered him this morning sleeping outside my front door in the woodchips. Brought him to vet this morning, they did xray, his right front leg is broken above the joint, up higher. It's a pretty clean break he said, I think he said a few splinters. He said he can't splint it because it is too high up. There appear to be no internal injuries, he's staying overnight at vet. Vet said he wants to do a pin inside his leg to set it, he also said he can't do cast, it would do more harm than good. Problem is the cost to do pin is around 800 and even though vet will take payments, my husband doesn't want to do it. My cost today was already 200. We have had vet expenses recently in the past. Anyway, my husband says the cat will most likely heal on his own, and will be fine. PleAse tell me that if we do nothing he will be ok. What should I do at home to help him? My husband said he is going to pick snowflake up from vet tomorrow.
