Help...Cat waking me up :(

Pumpkin wakes me up every morning at 3...meowing and pawing my hair. Is there anything I can give him at night so he sleeps through the early morning hours?  I heard Flower Essences worked.  I've tried shutting my door, but he still meows and scratches on the door..I'm at my wits end,  Thanks for any input.

Try tiring him out right before bed with a play session. Make sure he's running around to the point of panting. Then follow up with a meal. The combo seems to work well for a lot of cats to help them sleep longer during the night.
