Okay so she's had another ultrasound done, there's at least two kittens still alive in there. Both have strong heart beats and are moving.
The vet said we can either do a c section but that then means terminating the two still living kittens, or carry on and then act if things don't improve

I've decided to carry on and see if things improved under the vets guidence and hopefully she can carry these two to term.

Thank you to everyone for being so helpful :)

I think you've made the right decision for now. She still has a good 3 weeks to go, so hopefully things will be okay.

This is going to be touch and go though, so steel yourself for whatever may come. If her body needs to expel the fetus being miscarried, she may lose the entire pregnancy. Or it may simply come out in 3 weeks. But, you don't want mom to bleed to death either.

She may need extra iron. Perhaps ask the vet about vitamin shots since she's losing blood.

Meanwhile, be prepared for an emergency c-section at any time.

Prayers for your cat, and please keep us posted.

Thank you for all your helpful advice

She's been separated from my other cats, and has a few rooms all to herself so I can monitor her from here on out.

In terms of the iron do you have any food suggestions on what I can give her until I can get her to the vets?

I've set up all measures for a c section with the vet just in case it needs to happen

Thank you for all your help :)

Would she eat cooked red meat, such as ground beef or steak? Red meat is iron-rich.

Terrific! It will help. Give her some red meat every day for now. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Quick update

The bleeding has slowed by massive amounts, she's still bleeding but only the odd spot here and there

She's still looking her pregnant self and has become very affectionate over these last couple of days

Pregnancy seems to be continuing okay, I've felt the kittens moving today so hopefully an encouraging sign!

Update

So I calculated she will be delivering around the 10th of October, she's hung on so far and I've felt the kittens moving so hopefully she and the kittens will be okay

She's began nesting and has a kitten teddy she's been taking in to her nest, which is so sweet.
She's eating lots and using the toilet double and as far as I've seen has stopped bleeding for at least a week.

She's also super affectionate which is lovely as she's always been quite reserved compared to my other cats!

Thank you everyone for all the support previously :)

Do you think she has more?

Even one is great news though, considering the circumstances.

Mums okay I'm just letting her eat the placentas
No I don't think he was born alive, no signs of anything from when he came out
On the scan she only had the two so I think that is all of them

She's just cleaning both at the minute

This is the two the lighter ginger is the one who's unfortunately passed away.

Mum and kitten are doing brilliantly
Labour has stopped and she's not bleeding now so hopefully all is well

Little fella has been thoroughly cleaned and is a stunning colour
