I joined yesterday and decided to post a introduction thread.
My name is Aaron, and I am 16 years old. I am often regarded as an old soul and very mature.
I have 3 cats, and 5 dogs (3 inside 2 outside)
Sparkles is the Alpha cat, and is our oldest pet at 7 years old. She *tolerates* our dogs
Twinkles is our only male pet, 5 years old. He's fat, lazy, and carefree. He will eat anything.
Weewee is our youngest cat at 3. She is much like me. She likes quiet, dark places and doesn't socialize with the other animals except one of our dogs.
A little side story about Weewee. When I was 13 years old, people were building a new house at my subdivision. One of the workers brought his little demon boy. Our friend's mother made him introduce himself to this kid. After a while he started talking about a cat he found behind the house his father was working on. When we got there the demon child immediately grabbed a large stick and said lets kill it. My brother and friend quickly jumped and pinned this kid to the ground and threw the stick and I grabbed the little kitten who looked no more than 4-6 weeks old. After talking to my mom she finally let us keep it. I couldn't think of a name for her, but I said she was a wee little cat, which evolved into weewee.
Libby our Labrador retriever. She acted as a mommy to weewee when I rescued her and they get along great.
Star is my grandmothers Boxer. She is different. She has a big mouth, but she is timid and scared of almost everything.
Minnie is my grandmother's newest pet. She is....a loudmouth. Amazingly, the cats don't even notice her (probably because she is smaller than all the other animals in the house.
Our outside sister dogs, Leslie and Jasmine. They are sweet, but hyper mixed breeds. They are very beautiful dogs and love to play with our bigger dogs.
The relationship of my animals is weird.
Sparkles and Twinkles get along great. Often grooming each other
Sparkles and Weewee occasionally fight, probably for dominance of the household. Other than that, they never socialize
Twinkles and Weewee get along, and never fight, but don't really do much more than that.
Sparkles tolerates Libby, but Libby stays away, not wanting to offend her.
Sparkles does not like Star, but does not notice minnie
Twinkles does not care if Libby or Star gets near him. He often times rubs against them
Weewee does NOT like star at all, often meowing at star when she gets too close. Weewee rubs Libby often because Libby acted like Weewee's mommy
The dogs of course get along with each other often wrestling outside
Whew..that was a mouthful but I'm done. I'll put up pictures of my cats later
