Hello everyone,
I have just joined this forum and would like to introduce myself. I have 4 feral rescue cats and we live in Muscat, Oman. I'm an American and live here because of my 'real' job. It's a challenge to have animals here because veterinary care is not very good. My kitty, Ruby, died last July as she had feline leukemia. I still miss her every day. The vets could not even give her a blood test when she developed lumps under her chin. On top of that, they could not offer chemotherapy, which often times has a positive effect in cats. All they could offer was morphine which I had to administer. I was left to see her drastically deteriorate in a matter of a week and had to have her put to sleep.
On another note, I also have a Facebook page: Cats In Art, www.facebook.com/catsinart In addition, I regularly write and post articles about cats on Infobarrel. I am trying to follow my passion for cats and devote all the time I can to them in whatever way.
