I have read posts on this site but I thought I would register.
I am owned by the six cats you can see in my signature.
George is the oldest (between 9 & 14 years old)adopted from our local RSCPA, he was found living in a multi-story carpark.
He is my heart kitty, he sleeps on my head when he can and is very affectionate.
Milly (1 year) we also adopted from the RSCPA as a friend for George. Boy, was that a bad idea. She wanted to play and he didn't, so we adopted Milo as a friend for Milly. Milly was quite aloof but has her soft moments and she is very slowly getting less skittish.
Milo (1.5 years) was adopted from the Cat Shelter as a friend for Milly. Milo is our mock ragdoll kitty, if you hold him like a baby he just going limp
Milly & Milo playfight together.
Treacle (1.5 years) was also adopted from the Cat Shelter. We saw him when we adopted Milo but thought Milo was friendly and would get on better with Milly. Treacle was adopted out by stupid people who returned him. I received a tax rebate and decided to go back for him. He is sleek like a panther and he loves belly rubs.
Bramble (3 months) was a complex story. A lady asked us to remove mother & 2 kits from her garden which we did. We trapped mum and fought though 6 foot brambles for the kits. Which we took to our local shelter (They are all rehomed now)I went back to see if we could find dad cat (he needs an operation) and instead found Bramble at 9pm Friday night and mum was in a shelter only open on Monday 9am. We checked with our vet that she was old enough to feed (she was) but I couldn't get her off my boyfriend on Monday morning. She is sweet fuzzy ball, she used to run after the older cats who werescared of her, though everyone but Treacle has calmed down now. But she was bored on her own, so we went to get a friend for her.
Tigs (3 months) was adopted from the RSCPA shelter, he is very sweet and very vocal, he chirps all day. He and Bramble play and sleep together.
PS. His name stands for This Is Getting Silly as he is our sixth cat.
