This is a truly heartwarming story of Lucy, a Golden Retriever, who went missing while a Buffalo, NY family was camping in Charlotte, NC. Fireworks frightened the dog, she got loose from her leash, bolted and ran away. She had been missing for four months. They got a call at 9:00 p.m. and drove 10 hrs. through the night to be reunited with their lovable pup. The video also talks about Tucker Canine Search and Rescue and what an amazing job they do in helping to find lost animals:

Well, that brought a tear to my eye!! Golden Retrievers are such loving, loyal dogs. It just goes to show you that if they become lost, never, ever give up hope!
