I would like some advice about how to deal with a young cat with a heart murmur diesel has seen a vet so far I have been told she doesn't need any medication she is a very active cat for her age she is a year and a half almost I was told she is most likely to outgrow it.

Heart murmurs are usually outgrown by 6 months, maybe a year. I'd be taking Diesel to a cardio specialist and getting an ultrasound of the heart, in your position.

Definitely go to a cardiologist for an ultrasound of the heart. My Jamie was dxed with HCM at 2 years old, he is now just 5, and is under the care of a cardiologist for the condition. When the first ultrasound was done by the cat vet and radiologist, they both decided that he needed a blood pressure med and a blood thinner. The cardiologist did another ultrasound and completely disagreed and took him off of both meds as the case is so mild. He will continue to see her regularly, of course, so that we stay on top of this.

I would not ignore this though or take the word of a vet, even a good one, who did not do any diagnostics.
