That's the hardest part. I miss them so much!! My neighbour is looking after them. He lives across the hall and adores cats! Mine don't really adore him though! They're so used to it being only me and them.Speedy recovery! Hope all goes well and you're back home with your kitties!
Yesterday when my Brother was here, I gave him instructions about what to do about my cats if something happens to me during the anongiogram. I told him that if they can't take them in, that Spencer and Katie are to go to a no kill animal shelter, and that I don't want Abby spending her last months/years in a cage being that she is a senior kitty (16 1/2). His wife said that they would take them all into their home and look after them. I don't know if she said that to calm me down, or if she really meant it. But I'm happy that I have made arrangements for them to be cared for.
Abby is such a cuddle bug and she spoons with me when we sleep and wake up. I am missing that the most.
I had some chest pain, which for me is really "back pain between my shoulder blades" today. I didn't know if it was back pain related, or heart related. And it wasn't really a pain more like a very mild discomfort between my shoulder blades. But it was along the lines of how it started before it got so bad. So I called the nurse and she gave me some nitro spray, and it went away. Plus because I had back pain from an earlier walk, she gave me a couple of Tylenol #3.
My nephew and his girl friend came up today. Love them to pieces! Was nice to see them. My Brother's ex wife is coming to see me tomorrow. He divorced her, but I never did!! Love her to pieces too! Monday some of my former co-workers from when I worked at the hospital are coming to see me on Monday.
My roommate who was admitted today is a sweetheart. She's older, but very spry and active. I actually had a chuckle today. I was watching Fantasy Island on Netflix. In a scene there was a woman who was moaning and groaning and panting and ugging while trying to get out of a wrecked car. Total overacting on the part of the actress. My roommate peeked around the curtain at me!!!
Now that isn't funny on it's own. But it is when you combine it with the fact that she is a NUN!!! LOL I can only imagine what was going though her mind about what was going on on the other side of the curtain! LOL
