I retired last December because my knees couldn't take being on my feet 8 hours a day on concrete floors. The plan then was that my husband. who will be full retirement age in March of 2020 would work until he could take full retirement, then cut back on his hours to part time. Life has a way of happening while you are making plans! His health has gone down hill recently and he had to retire early. Truthfully, I am a little concerned over his health. He has non alcoholic fatty liver disease among a host of other chronic issues, such as IBD. He scared me so badly that I insisted he go to the doctor and I went with him. He had several blood tests and is now scheduled to see a specialist and have an MRI. It seems his liver enzymes are more elevated than just last month. He had blood tests about every 2-3 months to track the enzyme levels. Thanks for listening - I just needed to vent a little. He downplays the problems to me because he knows I worry.
