Hi guys,
Since I've stopped using Alnutrin and began making my own supplement mix I had been wondering if I needed to include the Morton Lite salt in certain grinds from Hare Today. I know the rabbit contains the thyroid gland so it would not be needed for that one but instead of assuming that the other "whole animal grinds" (goat, sheep, poultry, etc) included it, I emailed Tracy and wanted to share her response with you guys:
Rabbit, mice, fish and guinea pigs we grind head on so this would include the thyroid gland which is in the upper neck. The other products do not include head so no gland including poultry.
So for you guys that use Hare Today and are NOT using a premix but your own supplement slurry, you do want to include the Morton Lite salt for all grinds other than rabbit, mice, guinea pig and fish.
