We had chips and salsa at work today. I entered the salsa contest but did not win. My salsa is more along the lines of a traditional salsa and the winners made a non-traditional salsa. I was not able to try the winners' salsa as it was gone by the time I got to the table.

I did try one that I just dipped a corner of a chip in. My mouth was on fire for about 15 minutes!

I am going to search for some different types of salsa for next year. I won the first year I entered, but they had different categories then, and I won most authentic. It was the first time I had ever made salsa and one co-worker was very mad that I won. He had entered his grandmother's salsa and didn't win a thing.
