ZIGGY!
Ziggy is 4 years old today.
He was born via a C-section and my neighbor called me when he, the momcat and his brother came home from the vet. I was enamored with wirehairs, so I was at her house within minutes, if not seconds. There he was, so cute and obviously a very wiry wirehair.
Sadly, his brother only lived for 2 days, but Ziggy thrived as an only kitten. I was only too happy to take him when my neighbor offered him to me 6 months later, because he had a fault and could not be used for show/breeding. He was my 45th birthday present. The best present EVER.
So, on to the photos. Ziggy is very difficult to photograph so I was lucky to get these.
What, you want my photo? Ha! You're gonna have to WORK for it!:
First, a couple of Ziggy's passions. Ziggy loves to surf the net, and is pictured here with his skin sister, Bella. LOL
He is also currently fascinated with a tree stump in our backyard. He likes to put his head into the hollowed area, and also like to dig out pieces of wood and leaves:
Ziggy and his big sister (she's 10 mos older) enjoying a quiet moment. Look how much bigger he is than she!:
Gazing out the window:
Looking for his "lizard friend" that likes to sun itself on the window sill:
And lastly, licking his chops after his dinner. You can see how the left side of his whiskers still have a way to grow since being shaved for surgery. However, the wound is healed completely and the fact that he doesn't have cancer is HUGE!:
Happy Birthday, Ziggy!
