Probably been posted a thousand times, but can someone please post a link to a site that lists calorie content to raw meats. I am not very good at searching and all I can seem to find is cooked, baked, broiled, boiled, and so on. Thank you.

Yeah, the USDA database is the best place I know of to get nutrient information including calories for raw foods.

Here's a link directly to the database query page:

http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/search/list

In the search box enter something like "chicken raw" and it will show a list of the database entries for raw chicken. You can be more specific to get a shorter results list by using a search like "chicken thigh raw". The search words don't have to be in any particular order.

Click on one of the entries that comes up and you'll get detailed nutrient information for several different quantities of the item but the first column is always the amount of a nutrient per 100 grams. 100 grams is about 3 1/2 oz. Calories (Energy) are always near the top of the nutrient list and are shown with units of 'kcals' which is the same as calories.

Click on 'Foods List' near the top of the page to get back to the search page.
