Hello again....I have tried to research the reason for this, but I guess I'm not using the right terminology.
My cat is a short haired domestic......so her coat is usually flat and smooth.
Why sometimes, do rows of hair 'lift' up......it's like rows of wheat separating...and you can see the skin between the rows. You can also run your finger down these rows......her coat might be like that for a day or so....then it's back to being flat and smooth again.
I hope I'm describing this properly. She doesn't appear to be sick or change any behaviour at all.
