Hi I am new here, looks a lovely site.
I lost my beautiful cat Ziggy to kidney disease after a wonderful 16 years together.
I now have two Tonkinese kittens, the first pedigree cats I have ever owned. They are sister and brother, Lotti and Kensey.
Coming up for 6 months I had them both neutered two days ago.
Kensey you would not think anything had been done, Lotti has been almost her normal self too, both slept a lot yesterday, when they had got home from the ops they were both a bit hyper, ate loads.
Well Lotti today is quiet, was sick this morning but has eaten a little and not been sick again, but she is very quiet.
Can someone tell me if it is normal for them to feel a bit worse the second day post op after being so bright the first day?
Should I be concerned. She doesn't seem to have a fever, her wound looks ok.
I have had cats all my life, but mostly rescue and been neutered before I took them on, also been mostly male cats.
Thanks all.
