Is it hard? It's very difficult to tell exactly what it looks like with the pictures the way they are, but it's possible that it's a cutaneous horn, which is basically excess keratin. those are typically associated with their footpads, but normally grow out,rather than down. They continue to grown, if that's what it is, and have to be cut off continually, especially when growing down or can cause lameness eventually. Good thing you will be taking her to the Vet so they can determine exactly what it is. Could also be some type of fungus
