Growing Spots??

I have been noticing lately it seems there are spots coming in in between the stripes...I used to see maybe 1 spot and faintly but now there are quite a few and on both sides of him and also on his belly too! Is it possible that his fur is changing or am I just seeing things?

And also he has grown some impressive muscles...everyone always comments on them and jokes about is he lifting weights LOL not sure if you can tell by the picture but his muscles stick out quite a bit is that normal?? even on his legs when he walks you can see the muscles protruding out

Sometimes as cats mature, their pattern can change slightly. Stripes can separate into spots to form more of a broken mackeral tabby pattern. He’s a very handsome kitty!
