As I recently posted, Max normally comes into the bathroom with me in the mornings. This morning, though, he was lazy, and gave me a morning meow from atop the cat condo where he was relaxing.
I invited him to join me, but he yawned instead, so I shut the bathroom door and went about my business. I got into the shower, hoping he didn't start meowing outside the door and waking my roomie.
I showered and turned off the water, and immediately felt a very cool draft, which concerned me. I pushed aside the shower curtain to grab my towel, and there was Max, sitting on the edge of the sink, looking sweetly up at me. The bathroom door was WIDE OPEN.
The little stinker pushed the door open - I guess it hadn't latched all the way - and let himself in. Thank goodness my roomie was still in his room asleep! That could have been a bit awkward for me otherwise!
Now I have to see what I can do about making sure that the door latches properly.
Silly Max!
