Good day everyone. So the first 4 days that we had the new kittens everything was great. Well on the 5th day one of them got locked up in our bedroom by accident and peed/pooped on the bed. Also earlier that day we had our family over with 2 younger children screaming and yelling. Not sure if that combination causes her to pee the bed each time she comes in our room. We have tried the aluminum foil blankets but they love playing on it and ive even tried a shower curtain, but she peed on it right in front of us.
Ive tried the "no spray" spray with the essential oils and that doesnt seem to work either. My last resort is getting the feliway diffuser.

Am i doing something wrong or....

original cat is 1.5 years and the kittens are 4 months old. The one kitty only pees in our bed, no where else (except kitty litter)

Can you put a litterbox in the bedroom temporarily? Otherwise, try keeping that kitten out of your bedroom, as long as it is using the litterbox elsewhere. Do you have multiple litterboxes for them?

Kittens aren't always perfect, and beds are the most common target. Best solution is to exclude from the bedroom temporarily. The kitten might add other priority targets (soft things like blankets on couches, clothes left on the floor, bathmats) or might not. Just try to eliminate likely targets, and this phase should pass. Make sure to have a box in every room this kitten spends a lot of time.

Definitely this..think of it as a toddler having an accident when they're that young.

For now, keeping many litters around the home will be best. You should always keep 1 per cat plus one..but when kittens are young, they get distracted and forget the need to go and can have accidents.
