I had to have Roger euthanized this morning. The leukemia was getting the best of him. He was 6 years old and a big orange marmalade cat and the sweetest cat that ever lived.
Please accept my deepest condolences! Your true love for Roger gave you the courage to give him the hardest gift of all and I am sure that he welcomed the release. What a beautiful name, I can picture in my mine what he must have been like. By the way, the big orange cat who greeted him on the other side of Rainbow Bridge is my orange marmalade Scott - I've lit a tourquoise-cut glass candle to light their meeting. I will keep you in my thoughts tonight, and please stay in touch & feel free to PM me. I'm caring for rescue, so visit TCS sporadically throughout the day. " Time is a great river that carries me away from you....gone is the comfort of your shore". Remember that we understand...Susan
Hugs, Susan
I am so sorry you lost your precious Roger. You showed your true love for him by giving him the gift of freedom from a terrible sickness. Now he is healthy and happy, playing at the bridge until he can be reuntied with you someday. Hugs as you go though this sad time....
