I think I'll start with the good news.
Good news, I called back human resources and finally got a hold of the person. Apparently she's not the exact HR person, just a fill in until they hire an actual one. And there was miscommunication between them and the society directer, so she's talking to the directer and will get back to me soon. Hopefully that clears things up and makes the job application go by faster. Yay! Soon I might actually start working at the humane society!!!
Bad news... our 'new' 95' Dodge Stealth's computer chip/power regulator suddenly died on us yesterday and with DH's shoulder being injured, we had to use my emergancy Firestone card to get the car fixed by Firestone. Thank goodness I had applied that card half a year ago for emergencies! So, after about $400 later, our car's working fine and had a complete diagnostic, which turned out great! So, I guess that's actually good news, besides the $400 part. Great, another credit card we have to pay off... At least we saved it for this car and not that junk Saturn we had before.
And at least we had a courtesy diagnostic and found no other problems. They did give us a list of check up things we should do but they can wait until I start bringing in some money.
